Rhypotoses barlowi sp. n.

Rhypotoses barlowi
(holotype)

10mm. The wings are dull orange, the forewings with typical Rhypotoses fasciae, though with black extending from the postmedial to the margin. There is some black also distally on the hindwing costal margin. The male genitalia are of the type with quadrilateral, lobed valves and resemble those of strigifimbria most closely, though with a broader, more digitate uncus and a more acutely produced valve apex. They are relatively much smaller, and the facies is highly diagnostic.

Geographical range. Borneo.
