Giganteopalpus Huwe

Type species: mirabilis Rothschild.

In facies this species resembles those of Eurypteryx. The white discal spot is prominent, and there are distinct pale patches subapically and centrally on the costa, and antemedially. The palps are much larger. The genitalia are of typical macroglossine form.

Dupont & Roepke (1941) refer to the larva briefly, as discussed in the specific account.

There is a single, rare Sundanian species
