16mm. The general coloration i
s as in fratella, but the forewings have a more rounded apex and more distinct, zig-zag antemedial and postmedial fasciae. There is a large but diffuse discal black spot, with a small orbicular basal to it. The genitalia have an additional lobe just distal to the costal process on an extension of its base. The aedeagus has a relatively small vesica, particularly the distal diverticulum which lacks apical cornuti. These only occur at the base of the ductus ejaculatorius.

Holotype . BRUNEI: 1618m, Bukit Retak, montane forest, 14.9.79 (Lt. Col. M.G. Allen), BM noctuid slide 17814.

Geographical range. Borneo.

Habitat preference. The only specimen is from upper montane forest.
