Parolulis murudensis Prout
Olulis murudensis Prout, 1926, Sarawak Mus. J., 3: 237.

Parolulis murudensis

Diagnosis. The species is slightly larger and a stronger yellow than absimilis, with a dark lunule associated subdorsally with the forewing postmedial.

Taxonomic note. This species was placed in Parolulis by Poole (1989) without comment, though retained in Olulis in the BMNH arrangement. The facies and characteristics of the female genitalia are consistent with Poole’s placement, therefore it is maintained.

Geographical range. Borneo.

Habitat preference. Only three specimens have been seen, two from Sarawak: the holotype female from G. Murud, and a female from upper montane forest at 1790m on G. Mulu. The third is from 1620m on G. Kinabalu.
