Plusiopalpa Holland
Type species: dichora Holland.
This is a small genus with one Oriental species, an Afrotropical one and
two in Madagascar. The forewings are a deep purplish brown with markings much as
in the Oriental representative. All have prominent palps. In the male genitalia
of the Oriental species the aedeagus vesica is less elongate than in other
species and has lateral lobes; the saccus is strikingly modified with a dorsal
keel and a central constriction.
