Polyscia viridispurca

The forewing apex is slightly falcate. The ground colour is pale fawn, striated darker, with a straight brown oblique postmedial and a black discal dot on the forewing. On the hindwing there is a similar straight brown medial, distal to which is a weak, fine postmedial, more intense and strongly curved towards the costa. Some specimens have a subtornal dark patch near the postmedial on the forewing.

Taxonomic notes. The male genitalia resemble those of the type species except the right furca process is apically asymmetrically bifid rather than spurred.

Geographical range. N.E. Himalaya, Borneo, Sumatra.

Habitat preference. Bornean material is restricted to a male from G. Kinabalu without altitude data.
