Diagnosis. The ground colour of the wings is a pale creamy yellow, marked with darkish
brown. The area of the wings basal to the postmedials is predominantly pale
ground colour, that distal to them extensively dark brown. There is a pale patch
at the centre of the forewing margin, and the tornal half of the hindwing border
is paler than the rest.
Geographical range. Sundaland.
Habitat preference. The species is uncommon in lowland rain forest, and
has been recorded once in lower montane forest at 1000m.
