Diagnosis.
The forewings are rather sparsely but regularly invested with relatively broad black striae; black markings are more intense at the margins. The hindwings have a regular array of marginal black spots rather than a concentration of these at the marginal excavation.

Geographical range. Borneo.

Habitat preference. During the Mulu survey the species was taken in alluvial forest apart from one specimen in lowland limestone forest. However, in Brunei, three specimens have been taken in upper montane forest on Bukit  Retak.
