Erythrolophus fascicorpus Swinhoe,
1892, Trans. ent. Soc. Lond., 1892: 11.
Diagnosis. In appearance this species could be taken for a large Scopula or
a rather fawn-coloured cosymbiine, but there is a distinctive black patch
dorsally at the base of the abdomen. The hindwing discal spot is a small black
ring. The underside is similarly marked to the upperside.
Geographical range. N.E. Himalaya, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo, Java.
Habitat preference. The only recently collected specimen seen is from a Pinus
caribaea plantation at Brumas in the lowlands of Sabah.
