Comostola dyakaria

This species is a bright green version of C. laesaria and allies, with much smaller, punctate discal spots and faintly paler green, rather than red and white, fasciae that are crenulate and entire rather than broken, irregular.

Taxonomic notes. The male genitalia of dyakaria from Borneo and albifimbria from the Himalaya are indistinguishable, but C. simplex Warren comb. n. from Java is distinct, having a single, more basal saccular spine and no swelling in the sacculus itself.

Geographical range. Borneo, Philippines, Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia, N.E. Himalaya.

Habitat preference. Several specimens were taken at 1000m in lower montane forest on G. Mulu.
