Chloristola setosa (paratype)


12-14mm, 13mm. See the generic description. The Sulawesi species is similar in facies but has a longer, more tapering process to the eighth sternite and less strongly developed or setose expansion to the valve sacculus.

Holotype  SARAWAK: Gunung Mulu Nat. Park, R.G.S Exped., 1977-8 (J.D. Holloway et al.) Site 25, April, G. Api, 900m, 427550, lower montane forest, BM geometrid slide 16840.

Paratypes: 1 as holotype; 1 (slide 17866) same general data but Site 7, January, Long Pala (Base) 50m. 324450, alluvial, secondary forest; 1 BRUNEI: 15m, Telisai, sandy heath forest and Gymnostoma, 3.2.1979, (Lt. Col. M.G. Allen); 1 Ulu Temburong Expedition 1978, BRUNEI, Base Camp, 300m, M.V. light, 4.x.1978 (T. W. Harman).

Geographical range. Borneo.

Habitat preference. The material listed above is from several lowland forest types and lower montane forest at 900m on limestone.
