Hyalospectra pustularia

Diagnosis.
The forewings are more strongly bifalcate than in congeners except for the related montane species described below. Both fore- and hindwings are characterised by an irregular medial band of dark brown broken by pale fawn along the veins. A male specimen came to hand after the genitalia figures had been prepared, but distinctive features are noted in the diagnosis of the next two species.

Geographical range. Borneo, Siberut I.

Habitat preference. Both old and recent material is from lowland localities, but the species is rare. The only recent specimens were from swamp forest at Badas and from lowland forest at Badas and from lowland forest at Ulu Temburong in Brunei.
