Tridrepana argentistriga

Diagnosis.
Smaller than most congeners, argentistriga is also a paler yellow. The forewing becomes more intensely suffused brown towards the forewing apex, with an obliquely, darker brown line and an arc of silver submarginal lunules within it. The hindwing is marked by a silvered discal dot and the straight fasciae postmedially (fine) and antemedially (broad).

Geographical range. Sundaland, Burma; Sulawesi (ssp. brevilinea).

Habitat preference. The species is uncommon, with most records from lowland forest except for one from lower montane forest on G. Api (900m) and one from 1500m on G. Kinabalu.
