Eugoa muluana sp. n.

Eugoa muluana (holotype)
(x 1.56)

, 9mm. Both sexes resemble females of inconspicua, except the postmedial is somewhat less clearly defined. The genitalia indicate a relationship with inconspicua. The males have rather broad valves with dorsally directed setae along the ventral margin, but these are more robust in inconspicua and there is a subapical spur to the costal margin and apical serration lacking in muluana, which has a crest of inwardly directed scales on the apical zone. The aedeagus vesica has fields of spines in inconspicua but is immaculate in muluana. Both females lack the large appendix bursae of crassa and allies, but inconspicua has a broader ostium and diagnostically large and corrugate structures on each side of it.
