Garudinia truncata sp.
6-7mm. The hindwings are a
paler grey-white as in triangulata, and the forewings have the brown
bands narrower than in simulana and allies, such that the pale creamy
white areas appear broader, particularly the central zone. The more basal brown
patch is anteriorly rounded but narrower than semicircular. The male genitalia
have the valve saccular process very short, truncated, robust, and have conical
spines interior to them subbasally. The aedeagus has fine, dense scobination
apically and fields of coarser, more dispersed scobination in the vesica.
