Tampea sp. 2053

Tampea reversa Walker sensu Holloway, 1976: 2.

Tampea sp. 2053
(x 1.63)

A male similar in facies to the previous species but larger (12mm) may represent a further species in this genus but is somewhat damaged, the head missing. The male abdomen and genitalia are similar to those of nodosa, but the valve apex is more rounded, broader, the costal spines much reduced. The uncus is deeper centrally. The specimen was taken at 1930m on G. Kinabalu.
