Diagnosis.
The forewing pattern is more mottled, less strongly marked than in the other Bornean species, described below.

Geographical range. Borneo, Sumatra.

Habitat preference. The species is much rarer than the next, taken in lowland dipterocarp forest, heath forest and at 1000m in lower montane forest.
