Diagnosis.
This is a paler, greyer insect with deeper, shorter forewings than congeners. Pale patches are reduced in size, those in the cell and posterior to CuA2 divided by dark streaks. The abdomen has a series of pale patches laterally that are not conspicuous from above.

Geographical range. Borneo, Natuna Is., Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia.

Habitat preference. A series in the BMNH is from Poeh, Sarawak.
