Nygmia tigris sp. n.

Nygmia tigris (paratype)

19mm. The facies is much as in tamsi and barbara. The male genitalia differ, though they are closer to those of tamsi in valve and aedeagus vesica characters. The structure is generally more delicate than in tamsi, the dorsal arm of the valve narrower, without a strong serration towards the apex dorsally, nor an acute, spine-like apex. The aedeagus vesica is more elongate between the patches of spines. The basal patch is rectangular rather than round, and the distal one surrounds the apex of the long lobe, rather than being lateral and slightly subapical.
