Arctornis minutissima

Diagnosis.
This is a delicate, pure white species with frons and palps extensively rufous, and legs tinged the same colour, but not spotted more darkly. The male genitalia (See A faucium sp.n) are characterised by a rather rugose, triangular uncus, a valve with a small spur at the dorsal apical angle, and a long, slender harpe that is upcurved and apically acute in minutissima.

Geographical range. Borneo.

Habitat preference. The holotype was taken by Alfred Russel Wallace in Sarawak, probably in the lowlands. A further specimen was taken at 1000m in lower montane forest on G. Mulu.
