Vaneeckeia pallidifascia

Diagnosis.
The species resembles those in Quadricalcarifera to some extent but may be recognised by the broadly rufous medial area of the forewing that is bounded distally by a roughly semicircular postmedial.

Geographical range. N. E. Himalaya; Taiwan; Sundaland; Buru, New Guinea.

Habitat preference. Only three Bornean specimens have been seen, one from 1200 m on G. Kinabalu and two from 1618 m on Bukit Retak. The species may therefore be montane.
