Suzukiana pallida

Diagnosis.
See Suzukiana deihli Kiriakoff.

Taxonomic note. Kiriakoff (1968) illustrated a Sumatran female of this species as irrorata Moore, a Himalayan taxon; possibly the record of irrorata from Sumatra in Kiriakoff (1974) is also of pallida. It has not been possible to examine the type of irrorata so conspecificity with pallida cannot be precluded.

Geographical range. Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo.

Habitat preference. On G. Kinabalu the species was infrequent from 1000-2000 m. In the Mulu survey it was frequent in lower montane forest (1000 m) on the G. Mulu transect. It has also been taken at about 1600 m on Bukit Pagon and Bukit Retak in Brunei.
