Manoba bulli

6-7mm. The forewing facies is more punctate than in
chamberlaini, broad markings being restricted to a subbasal streak and a medial triangle on the costa. The valve is unusually shaped from the sinuous margins of both costa and the distal part of the ventral margin. The harpe is large, rather jug-like, but with an acute apex like the lip. The aedeagus has a thumb-like subapical spur, and there is a pronounced comb of spines on the aedeagus vesica.

Holotype . SARAWAK: Gunong Mulu Nat. Park, R.G.S. Exped. 1977-8 (J.D.Holloway et al.), Site 3, January, Camp 4, Mulu, 1780m. 453463, [upper] montane forest, BM noctuid slide 17280.

Paratypes (all general data as holotype): 2 (slides 17355, 17359) as holotype; 1 (slide 17628) as holotype but Site 4, 1790m. 452463; 1 (slide 17127) as holotype but Site 5, 1780m. 451463; 1 (slide 17452) Site 27, April, G. Api, 1500m., Pandanus Camp, 429541, scrub, Pandanus.

Geographical range. Borneo.

Habitat preference. All material is from different types of upper montane forest and scrub.
