, 12-13mm, 11-12mm. This species has very similar facies to the type species, curiosa, as described above, but the forewings are more elongate with more rounded distal margins, and the costal scale patch is darker. The hindwing is more irrorated with dark brown, with the fasciation more heavily emphasised, with the medial fascia passing through the discal spot to beyond it towards the costa, rather stopping short of it on the side of the dorsum in a more distal position. The male genitalia have the valves less excavate distally than in the Sulawesi species, the margin running obliquely back from the apex to the more basal saccular process. The aedeagus vesica is relatively large, but rugose rather than scobinate. The female genitalia are described in the generic account.

Geographical range. Borneo.

Habitat preference. All material is from lowland dipterocarp forest, some secondary, apart from one from a lowland softwood plantation.
