Diagnosis.
The straw-coloured wings streaked with dark brown, mostly on the veins, are distinctive. The forewing has a fine, lunulate discal mark in the same colour, and there are usually two diffuse, parallel, oblique bars arising from the costa adjacent to it and extending distally beyond it.

Geographical range. Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra (Lodl, 1999e), Borneo.

Habitat preference. The species is infrequent in various lowland forest types, including heath, coastal and secondary forest. The highest record is from 300m. During the Mulu survey it was only recorded (seven specimens) from alluvial forest.
