11mm. The facies is as in the previous species, but the pale markings are more irregular, less linear and generally more diffuse in delineation. The spaces at the margins contain dark brown triangles that are more prominent than in the other species. The male genitalia have the valves more densely setose than in other species, with the costal spur apical and small. The aedeagus vesica has a distal zone of relatively coarse scobination that has a patch of larger spines ventral to it.

Holotype . SABAH: Poring, 1800', E. of Mt Kinabalu, 20-23.i.1976, primary forest, (E.W. Classey), BM noctuid slide 19821.

Geographical range. Borneo.

Habitat preference. The single specimen is from hill dipterocarp forest at about 600m.
