Bocula nigrinsula sp. n.
15mm. The forewing is a uniform buff colour with the discal spot and a fascia just basal to it faintly darker. The marginal area is mainly buff, the black being restricted to an isolated and irregular patch representing the more basal lobe of the typical margin, e.g. in calthula, which it otherwise resembles. The hindwing is as in calthula. The male abdomen is similar to that of calthula, except the eighth tergite is broader and the sternite shorter; the distal arms of the latter are straighter.
