Taxonomic notes. The genitalia of rostrata (from Sulawesi) are as in the typical race, but is larger, with broader, clearer yellow margins to both wings.

Geographical range. Sundaland, Palawan; Sulawesi (ssp. rostrata).

Habitat preference. No recently collected material has been seen from Borneo. In Sulawesi ssp. rostrata was taken mainly in lower montane forest at just over 1000m.
