26-29mm. The wings are more uniformly suffused green than in other species, with the fasciae and discs marked with reddish brown; the fasciae are only weakly defined. There is a diagnostic band of dark grey suffusion over the medial zone of the hindwing. The genitalia are distinguished by a rather elongate, tapering uncus that lacks processes, and a valve with an enlarged and heavily setose cucullus but no other processes.

Holotype . SARAWAK: Gunung Mulu Nat. Park, R.G.S. Exped. 1977-8 (J.D. Holloway et al.) Site 21, March, W. Melinau Gorge, 130m. 423576 alluvial/kerangas bank, BM geometrid slide 10457.

Paratypes: 1 SARAWAK: Gunung Mulu Nat. Park, R.G.S. Exped. 1977-8 (J.D. Holloway et al.) Site 13, February, Camp 2, Mulu, 500m, 401464 mixed dipt. for.; 1 BRUNEI: 30-60m, Labi, lowland forest and secondary, 11.3.80 (Lt. Col. M.G. Allen).

Geographical range. Borneo.

Habitat preference. All three specimens are from lowland rain forest, the highest from 500m.
