Miliona pendleburyi

Diagnosis.
The orange band on the hindwing is submarginal, and does not extend right to the costa, stopping at two thirds from the dorsum.

Taxonomic notes. The presence of a slight grey green iridescence within the apical black zone of the forewing is seen also in dulitana. The two species also have very similar female genitalia, characterised by a strongly sclerotised, bilobed lamella antevaginalis. They are probably sister-species.

Geographical range. Borneo.

Habitat preference. Two females only have been taken, both from G. Kinabalu, one at 1760m and the other at about 1600m.

Biology. The adult flies by day.
