Dystypoptila triangularis

Diagnosis.
The heavy dark grey fasciation of the forewings and the triangular, dark grey hindwings distinguish triangularis from other members of the Sauris group of genera. The female is unknown, but probably has hindwings that are more normal in shape.

Geographical range. Sundaland.

Habitat preference. Two specimens have been taken at 1618m on Bukit Retak, Brunei. A third Bornean example seen is from G. Matang in Sarawak, and the species was recorded from Kinabalu by Prout (1932c).
