Griseothosea kinabaluensis (holotype)


16mm. The species is larger than cruda, the forewing fasciation more greenish, though lacking the medial element. In the male genitalia the valve ornamentation is restricted to a subcostal flap. The aedeagus apex is bifid somewhat as in G. fasciata Moore.

Holotype  SABAH: Mt. Kinabalu, Power Station, 1930m, Cambridge Expedition to Mt. Kinabalu 1965 (H.J. Banks, H.S. Barlow & J.D. Holloway), BM limacodid slide 146.

Geographical range. Borneo.

Habitat preference. The unique specimen was taken in tall upper montane forest.
