Diagnosis.
Both sexes
are pale reddish brown and fawn, sexual differences being as in the generic
description. The male genitalia have the aedeagus curved, tapering to a point
and the gnathus deeply bifid.
Taxonomic
notes. The
taxa pelochroa West (Mindanao) and dyscrita West (Luzon) are
probably synonymous and the senior synonym, pelochroa, should be given
subspecific rank, stat. n., for Philippines congrua.
Geographical
range. Sundaland;
Philippines; Sulawesi; Lombok, Flores; Timor.
Habitat
preference. The
species has mainly been taken in the lowlands, particularly from riverine and
coastal localities, though one male was taken at 1000m in lower montane forest
on G. Mulu.
