Cyclosiella spiralis
(x 1.56)

The concentric oval markings in the centre of the forewing and slight iridescence to its darker grey edge are unmistakeable.

Taxonomic note. The structure of the male genitalia is massive but typical of Cyclosiella rather than Trischalis.

Geographical range. Sumatra, Borneo.

Habitat preference. Five specimens have been taken in lowland localities: near sea-level in dry heath forest, swamp forest and secondary coastal forest in Brunei; at Ulu Dusun and Poring (600m) in Sabah.
