Arctornis magnaclava sp.
19mm. The wings are satiny white with grey fringes,
though the satiny scales are sparser at the base of the hindwing and along the
CuA system of the forewing. There are denser white discal patches on all wings.
There is a broad rufous brown bar between the antennae that has a concave
ventral boundary. The palps are rufous with darker tips. The legs are spotted in
the usual places. The genitalia have an uncus as in sinuoharpe. The
valves are oval with a conspicuous, club-like harpe that extends beyond the end
of the valves. The harpe is irregularly sinuous and invested with small spines
over the distal third.
