Pseudojana obscura sp. n.
The species is smaller and redder than perspicuifascia, with the fasciation much
less pronounced. On the underside the weak postmedials are straight on both
wings; in perspicuifascia they are strong and markedly curved with the concave
side distad. In the male genitalia the aedeagus vesica is smaller but more
strongly scobinate, the uncus is more elongate with greater curvature to the
lateral processes, and the valve has a triangular process on the costa.
