7mm. The forewing, with its basal brown circular area and its distal uniform, dull grey-green colour, resembles “Pardasena” verna somewhat, but the basal zone is larger, bounded by a double black fascia, and the distal green area is darker, greyer and lacking paler highlights and dark costal flecks. The genitalia have Garella features such as a bilobed uncus, scaphial pads and a short valve process with an elliptical zone of black scales.

Holotype . SARAWAK: Gunong Mulu Nat. Park, R.G.S. Exped. 1977-8 (J.D.Holloway et al.), Site 25, April, G. Api, 900m. 427550, lower montane forest, BM noctuid slide 16850.

Paratype . NORD BORNEO: Mont Kina Balu, 5.8.1903 (John Waterstradt).

Geographical range. Borneo.

Habitat preference. Both specimens are from montane localities, though the paratype lacks altitude data.
