Diagnosis.
See the previous species.

Taxonomic note. Poole (1989) listed prunosa as ‘brunosa’.

Geographical range. Sri Lanka, Japan, Taiwan, Burma, Thailand, Andamans, Borneo.

Habitat preference. This is a species infrequent in lowland forest like hypenalis, but appears to be more tolerant of disturbance, being taken also in areas of secondary and logged forest.
