Diagnosis
.
The wings are more greenish brown than in other Bornean members of the genus. The hindwing has a distinctly darker distal half, and there is a distinct, fine and complete postmedial fascia just basal to this darker border.

Geographical range. Borneo, Sumatra.

Habitat preference. This is a rare lowland species, with a single specimen from lowland forest at 300m in the Ulu Temburong of Brunei to add to the original material of A.R. Wallace in Sarawak. There are also two specimens without altitude data taken in the vicinity of G. Kinabalu by Waterstradt and one from Bidi in the lowlands of Sarawak.
