Geographical
range. Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat
preference. Records are from over a greater altitude range to that of scissuralis,
up to 2110m, and with about twice the frequency. Chey (1994) found the species
to be common in secondary forest and softwood plantations at Brumas in the
lowlands of Sabah.
