triangula Holloway comb. n.
Euplexia triangula Holloway, 1976: 10.
This and the
next three species are closely related. They resemble emphanes in having
the orbicular component of the forewing central 'V' narrow, entirely pale: in all
the species described previously it has a darker central component. This species
is distinguished by the straight postmedial and antemedial pale boundaries to
the dark central medial zone. The dark brown submarginal zone is broad, not
conspicuously broken or dentate.
species is known from two males taken at 1930m on G. Kinabalu.
