Peratophyga alluvialis (holotype)


12-13mm. The bands on both wings are narrower than either of the previous two species and of rufous tinge as in beta. In the male genitalia the lateral processes to the tegumen are very slender and the lower portions of the right valve is distinctly narrowed over the apical portion from the ventral margin. The secondary spines on the side of the cornutus adjacent to the vesica are largest over the central part; in trigonata the larger ones are more distal.

Holotype . SARAWAK: Gunung Mulu Nat. Park, R.G.S Exped. 1977-8 (J.D. Holloway et al.) Site 16, March, Long Pala (Base), 70m, 324450, Alluv./ secondary for. MV on batu, canopy. BM geometrid slide 10526.

Paratype As holotype but slide 10542.

Geographical range. Borneo.

Habitat preference. Both specimens are from alluvial forest.
