Ophthalmitis satoi sp. n.
26-29mm. The wings are more uniformly suffused green than in other
species, with the fasciae and discs marked with reddish brown; the fasciae are
only weakly defined. There is a diagnostic band of dark grey suffusion over the
medial zone of the hindwing. The genitalia are distinguished by a rather
elongate, tapering uncus that lacks processes, and a valve with an enlarged and
heavily setose cucullus but no other processes.
