Thosea pallifurca sp. n.
The ground is a brownish fawn colour rather than the typical grey or brownish
grey, with the discal spot and postmedial prominent in rich dark brown. There is
a faint suggestion of a diffuse medial shade. The male genitalia are more robust
than in griseafurca, the base of the gnathus broader, the cleft of the
bifurcation shallower, the arms less splayed. The valve apex has the costa
extending beyond the apex in a short spine. The furca arms are evenly curved.
