Xyleutes pardicolor


Diagnosis.
The species is one of the smaller Bornean Xyleutes. The ground colour of both wings is a creamy white, marked with reddish brown striae and, on the forewing, larger round spots.

Geographical range. N.E. Himalaya, Burma, Vietnam, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo.

Habitat preference. Three specimens were taken during the Mulu survey, all in alluvial forest.
